Writing music has always been my passion! From the moment I picked up a guitar I wanted to create. And that’s still the case today, whether it’s as a sonic brand designer, music composer (or as some call it a sound designer) for a movie or documentary or the soundtrack for a (serious) game or anything from a small singer songwriter to a full blown orchestral track.

I’m Djuri Boot. A Dutch Composer. After graduating from the HKU in Holland (Bachelor of Music with Honors) my main focus is composing music for Film, Documentaries, (serious) Games,TV Adds and Events. Read more about me.
My Ambitions
I’m always trying to push the boundaries of what is possible within a certain concept. Always trying to make your music as original and most of all unique as possible. From big Orchestras to synth heavy scores, or just one guitar, Every concept has its unique approach.

What is special about this composition is the story behind the music: Unity is strength, in this composition I sought up the ultimate collaboration, I used the Fibonacci sequence.
Positively Tested
When Covid 19 appeared and the lockdowns started I promised myself to write music about these very strange times, I kept that promise! It wasn’t how I imagined it, it was even better.
Witness
The movie is about the fear of death. I chose to write everything around a short rhythmic pattern based on Morse code, the Morse code spells fear.
What others say about my work
Given half the chance, Djuri would mix the sound of his doorbell in 7.1 surround sound. That’s how much of a professional and a perfectionist he is. I know little to nothing about music and ways to create it. That’s why I find a lot of comfort in knowing that I can turn to Djuri and trust his craftsmanship. Until now he has helped me with some great compositions for commercials, the accompanying sound effects and the voice overs. Djuri is my go-to-guy for everything even remotely connected to sound or music.
