Music is how I process emotions: happy, but sometimes also sad…. I write at all those moments. As if it were a diary. Even when it gets really complicated. Like at that moment when I found out that I would never be able to find out who my parents from Sri Lanka are.

The ground falls away from under your feet. At that time I chose to lock myself up in my studio for a week to write about my adoption. That became the album “Darklands of Adoption”.

 Fast forward to now. Motion graphic designer Camiel made the impossible possible and started working on one of the tracks from the album: “Transformation”. Based on this emotional phase of loss, powerlessness & frustration, he created a fictional story.
